WE WON!!!!!!!!
I am so overly excited! My cheerleading team swept their competition for their age group. We won in both the cheer division and dance division.
They rocked the stadium!
Many people came up to me and commented on the team. They said we should have competed with the older girls as well. Some asked if there was an overall winner. I told them, "NO." They said, "Too bad because we thought your team was the best!" That gave me the chills.
I was so proud of my girls and how well they performed yesterday!! Each girl was awarded a medallion for each division they won. They clanged when they walked. These 8-10 year olds worked their bloomers off and deserved all the praise, and recognition they received.
Of course, there were people complaining and bitching, but you usually have that when there are winners and losers. The runners up will receive a trophy at their banquet and I still think that is fair!
This marks the end of the drama of this football season! Now, for the next saga.... being Vice-President of the league. This should be a great year coming up because we're going to be better organized and ready to hit the fields early!
** Thanks for reading my ramblings about my cheerleaders!**

Cheerleaders!!
Well, in 4 short days my cheerleading squad will be heading to their competition. We have been working our butts off for this! They better win! They have worked hard practicing (even at recess)! I am a little nervous needless to say.
Today was rainy and now it is cold in Louisana. I can imagine snow is heading up to Design's way here soon.
(sorry sis, that cuss word just came out of the fingers ROFL)!!
I hope everyone has a great week!!
Cheers

A Win is a win!!
Well, my hubby's football team did it this weekend. They went out and won their first and last football game. They won 24-0!! It was awesome. Parents were so proud of their sons. It was wonderful! The gold and black is tops again! My Jr. tackle team won too. They went undefeated!!! Woohoo!
This weekend has been good and restful. Next weekend will be better. We have no school on Friday because it is Veteran's Day. Thank a Vet for the freedoms you have today. I am thankful for both of my grandfathers for serving. They fought in World War II and so did hubby's grandfather.
Our Volunteers did fair well against Notre Dame. I bet my grandmother is smiling down from heaven because she loved the Irish. Hubby wasn't too happy though. There's always next week.
Everyone have an awesome week!

It's Friday!
It's finally Friday! I am so glad that today was a half day of school. The local high school Homecoming is tonight so they (the parish) give us a half day so that people could come to the parade and festivities.
My cherubs are driving me crazy, and it's only November!! How soon until Christmas break? Too long!
The weather down here in Louisiana is driving me crazy. Hot, cool, cold, and then hot again! I don't know which is worse. The tree pollen of the spring, or the weather changes of the fall. Any suggestions??
I hope everyone has a great weekend. Those of you up north, enjoy the foliage!
